FEASIBILITY STUDY UPDATE

As a result of the detailed study our congregation enjoined in 2011, we wish to report the progress that is being made.

1) A spiritual Life Committee is being designed and formed to both promote and oversee the spiritual health of our congregation. Our consultant, Jeff Knauer, is guiding us in this process, and will assist us in presenting the function and goals of this committee to all of you.

2) Clergy coaching is being provided by Jeff Knauer at the request of our rector. From his experience as a pastor for 22 years, Jeff is guiding Fr. John through exercises to enhance his ministerial strengths, grow administrative skills, and polish weak points identified in the study. Such mentoring relationships are being utilized in many of our healthiest and growing parishes.

3) A Capital campaign Committee has been formed to prepare for raising funds to address as many of the project items as possible that have been identified between the church and the rectory. The Buildings and Grounds Committee will work simultaneously to develop a list of projects and order of implementation based on study preferences. Prior to receiving firm financial commitments, members will receive a definitive plan based upon study input and reasonable financial goals.
